Mr. & Ms. GIST 2011 Coronation Night

     Pasig and Kalentong Branch hailed victoriously in the recently concluded and much awaited event – Mr. and Ms. GIST 2011 which was held last October 19 at Teatro Marikina attended by almost 1000 spectators – GIST students, Faculty Members, Administrative Staff, Board of Directors, Guests from the industries and parts. GIST- a fast growing institution which now has four branches once again proved that looks, talent and wit are just within the four corners of the classroom. Ms. Theresa Sister (Pasig Branch) and Mr. Jevin Katz Gutierez (Kalentong Branch) emerged as the prettiest, most handsome, most talented and smartest among the eighteen (18) candidates who competed to vie the most coveted title “Mr. and Ms. GIST 2011”.

    

 

 This year’s search with the theme “Pagpapahalaga sa Bayan, Kultura at Kalikasan” depicted the Filipinos own tradition, culture and values. It was seen in the collaborative presentations and special numbers by both the candidates, students and faculty. The program which lasted for almost 4 hours showcased the candidates in their national costumes, uniform, swimwear and formal evening attire. Songs renditions and dance performances were also the highlights in the said pageant.

* It was a very tilt competition since all the candidates were truly beautiful and handsome. However, the judges comprises of:

     It was indeed a night full of success and contentment for all the candidates deserved to win. The audience agreed to the results and went home with a great smile because of the satisfaction and fulfillment they had and everyone said “Di Nasayang Ang Pagod at Paghihintay Namin, Isa itong Di Makakalimutang Pangyayari sa Amin”. Again, congratulations to the candidates, winners, parents, special guests, students, faculty and staff who in one way or another had a significant part of this triumphant affair.
